The Making of Animour

Animals are our friends… that’s how the saying goes, doesn’t it? But many of us only remember that domestic pets are our most loyal friends, but forget that wild animals are important for hue-'manatee' too.
The 'porpoise' of Animour is to transfer the affection that animal-lovers have for their domestic companions to animal wellbeing in the fashion, beauty, and luxury industries. When we interviewed different people on the Parisian streets, we were actually surprised by how many of them are aware of current animal-wellbeing issues! The only missing part of the puzzle is a fun platform for people to be engage themselves.
We aim to help pet-owners care for their pets through what they buy – whether it be a luxury sweater for their dog or a day at the spa for their cat – and make them conscious about the treatment of animals in the industrial production cycles. It’s okay not to feel a personal connection with all animals, but that doesn’t mean that it is irr-'elephant' for you. Because just like all of us, animals have feelings too.
Animour celebrates the joy that animals bring to us through 'emu'-sing yet informative and thought-provoking content. We set ourselves apart from all the other classic animal-rights websites you can find online with our own personal touch: witty twists and a cheery spirit. You’ll notice that we play around a lot - with ideas, with words, and of course, with animals.

Our Team

I am an explorer by nature, always calmly observing, vigilantly reacting and actively seeking for the ultimate wonderlands – the fanciest destinations on earth. I am full of order and discipline, but I am anything but boring. I find absolute joy in planning, but don’t ask my help for your travel itineraries because the places I visit, you can’t afford! Don’t take it personally, I just love jokes, the more sarcastic, the better. If you know me well, you would know that there is actually a Bambi living inside of me – gentle, innocent and always ready to go!

Determined, dedicated, and dangerous, that’s me – I am a lion. Basically, just don’t piss me off! Jks… I am always on my way seeking for freedom, and the chill power inside of me is exactly what has gotten me so far in life. I enjoy my alone time but when I am around friends, I can go cray cray in no time. Being rational, objective and supportive, friends always come to me for advice so I can lead them out of trouble, I just need some sugar haha!

Connections. Strong, sensational and overwhelming connections – what I feel about dolphins and what I need exactly in my life. Everything else starts from here.  Impatient, fearless and spontaneous – I can’t wait to kick start a new adventure or get inspired by the smallest things that come unexpectedly. I am full of emotions – I might hit you with tons of love but are you ready to handle my mood swings that could happen any minute? Chill, I will forget it (like Dory) the next day anyways.

Independent, adaptable and open-minded, I call the world my home. I can have fun with a lot of people, friends or foes. 😉 And I can settle down anywhere and get the best time out of it, places you might not even see on a map. I am full of dreams and personality, and I’ve got a lot to say so recharge yourself before you come meet me haha! Metamorphosis is just my normality and I am always down for some touching romantic movies, shocking gossip, or inspiring stories anytime!
