Today it is with great honor that we invite Mr. Lab Bunny 007 here to reveal some of the dirtiest and darkest secrets of the life he is living. We have to thank him for his absolute courage for being willing to speak out by risking not just his career, but his whole life, to share his experiences with us, ripping off the masks of the beauty industry.

Q: First of all, say hi to our audience and introduce a bit about yourself.

A: Hi everyone! I don’t have a name but an ID number to be identified and distinguished from my siblings. I was born in a lab in China and since then, I’ve been trapped within that teeny tiny 20cm2 space that had to be shared among the 4 of us. Can you believe? Cage? That’s what you humans call it right? We call it home because that’s where all of my life activities take place – eating, drinking, defecation, falling in love and having babies.

Q: I am sorry to hear that! Oh… I just noticed, why do you have a pad stuck on your left eye? What happened?

A: My eyes were blinded by a lab accident last week. They did an eye irritation test on me and my friends. They dropped the liquid into our eyes and it hurt SOOOO much, we started screaming and running around, oh, no… we actually ran on top of each other and it was just… chaotic. I still wake up in the middle of the night from the nightmares caused by all those experiences you know? You would expect them to come and rescue us, because that’s what my mom taught me as I grew up – “we are supposed to help each other”. But they were just standing around, hands in their pockets, like they saw and heard nothing. I wonder how much cosmetics and makeovers it takes to disguise their ugly inside.

Q: What about your friends? Are they ok?

A: We were the happiest squad ever – 6 of us. They were all my neighbors, 2 guinea pigs, a rat, a mouse and a dog. But there are only 3 of us left now. Two died from skin infection, and my best friend – the rat living next door to me, was forced to take a handful of white cream through her throat. She was puking for 5 minutes straight but no one treated her. Then, there was white foam coming out of her mouth. Next minute I knew, they already dragged her out of the room. I didn’t even get to say goodbye… (started sobbing)

Q: You kept mentioning “they”, but who are they after all?

A: I… I am drowning but in a place that is nowhere near the sea. Apparently, all the foreign brands you spot in the Chinese market today are all involved, because Chinese legislations require new experiments on us before the products hit the shelves. And the list of brands is much longer than you think.

Q: I heard that the testings on you doesn’t have predictive or credible results on us.

A: That’s very true! I mean we species are all so different – our metabolisms, gene expressions and immune systems. They made us suffer for nothing.

Q: So where will be a safe place for you?

A: I have distant relatives living in Europe, either adopted and spoiled by the nicest people or out in the wilderness enjoying the greatness of nature. That’s my dream for sure. Also, I wanna travel to Israel, Turkey, India, Taiwan, South Korea, New Zealand and Guatemala, where I won’t have to worry about myself getting caught any minute.

Q: So, what can we do to help you and your siblings?

A: I understand it will be too much to ask of you to get rid of the majority of the cosmetics on your dressing tables. But please stop shopping for anymore of that. Our human friend PETA has been working on a list of other brands to shop at. You worship beauty I know, but it shouldn’t be at the cost of our lives.
